My name is Lisa Shin, and I am the daughter of Korean immigrants. I am proud of my Korean heritage, and I am proud to be an American. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mother. I have lived the American dream of professional achievement and entrepreneurial success. I am very proud to be a supporter of Donald J. Trump for President.
Korean-Americans for Trump represented a volunteer, grassroots driven effort to communicate a positive, compelling message in support of Trump. It was a response to the liberal narratives dominating media. The primary aim of Korean-Americans for Trump was to inform and educate our communities.
On July 21, 2016, I had the incredible privilege of speaking at the RNC Convention. My speech was featured on several You Tube channels. This amazing opportunity gave a national voice to the Korean-American Trump supporters, who were among the silent majority. There has been widespread media coverage, including NBC, NBC Asian America, CBS, CNN, C-Span, radio talk shows, the Albuquerque Journal, the Los Alamos Monitor, the Los Alamos Daily Post, Breitbart, Townhall, and numerous Korean media outlets.
On November 8, 2016, the American people took their country back. On this historic day, the Silent Majority spoke loud and clear. I am so proud that we were a part of it. We aligned ourselves with the victorious candidate. We supported the winning message. Donald J. Trump, the political outsider, shocked the world and stunned the political experts, the pundits, and the pollsters.
The work of Korean Americans for Trump will continue. We will be the Korean Americans that support Trump throughout his presidency. We will reach out to and engage our communities. Together, we will make America Great Again!
